In this Ayurvedic cooking class, we will prepare meals that aim to cool and balance the fire element, or Pitta dosha. Pitta accumulates in the Summer season and has a tendency to increase heat in our blood which can cause skin irritation, rashes, and burning sensations during digestion such as acid reflux.
Excess Pitta in our system can also make us feel increasingly impatient & angry and can cause us to burnout from stress.
The simple, plant-based meals we will prepare in this class are nourishing, cooling, and soothing for mind and body and can be integrated into your kitchen sadhana any time you feel increased fire in your system. These meals are best enjoyed during the late Spring & Summer seasons.
