6 WEEK AYURVEDIC NUTRITION + PLANT BASED COOKING IMMERSION
EVERY SATURDAY BEGINNING JULY 9 - AUGUST 13
Many of my students and clients begin their Ayurvedic healing journey with me because they are confused about what to eat to be & stay healthy, they feel disconnected from their body, and/ or they feel overwhelmed with the process of healthy cooking while balancing their current lifestyle.
Because we need to eat everyday to sustain our energy and physical body, one of the most direct paths to creating swastha, or harmony in our bodies is through understanding our relationship to food.
This 6-Week Kitchen Sadhana Program is designed to provide you with the foundational practices you will need to build a healthier relationship with food and with your body.
Kitchen Sadhana was created to help you feel confident in the kitchen and empowered to use food as medicine for your mind & body.
In this program, you will learn how to identify your body’s shifting needs and meet them with Ayurvedic principles, plant-based cooking, and medicine making.
By the end of this course, you will have:

In this Ayurvedic cooking class, we will prepare meals that aim to bring harmony to the Earth element, or Kapha dosha. Kapha accumulates in the Winter and early Spring season and has a tendency to slow down our digestion causing increased mucus to form and sensations of lethargy in our physical bodies.
Excess Kapha in our system can also dampen any feelings of motivation and can create mental stagnation.
The simple, plant-based meals we will prepare in this class are stimulating, heating, and exciting to the tastebuds and can be integrated into your kitchen sadhana any time you feel increased Earth in your system. These meals are best enjoyed in the early Spring and Summer seasons.

In this workshop, we will take a look at the medicinal properties of various Ayurvedic spices, roots, and herbs & get familiar with how to use them in our daily cooking. We will prepare Ayurvedic churnas, or spice combinations for each of the doshas.
Each participant will leave this workshop with their own spice churnas to take home and store in their kitchen “pharmacy” to make cooking for their health easy, accessible, and delicious.
In this Ayurvedic cooking class, we will prepare meals that aim to bring harmony to the wind element, or Vata dosha. Vata accumulates in the Fall & early Winter season and has a tendency to dry out our physical bodies causing excess gas & bloating, constipation, and dry skin. Excess Vata in our system can also make us feel emotionally overwhelmed and anxious which can inadvertently disrupt our appetite and digestion.
The simple, plant-based meals we will prepare in this class are grounding, nourishing, and calming for the nervous system and can be integrated into your kitchen sadhana any time you feel increased Vata in your system and especially enjoyed during the Fall & early Winter seasons.
